Our newest little blessing!!

God has blessed us with a new baby girl, Kambrie Joy. She was born on September 27 at 12:05 am and was 7 lbs and 22 inches long. Labor and delivery went very well. We got to the hospital a little before 10 pm and things went really fast at the end. My doctor almost missed her enterance into the world. We are again so thankful to God for protecting Kambrie and I during the pregnancy and during delivery. She is such a blessing.

Seeing her for the first time. Always so much joy and happiness.

Our happy little family.

Proud BIG sisters and my girls!!!

Ready to go home.
Always a scary feeling - Do I remember how to do this?

Taking a nap with dad. Jim's favorite thing about babies.

Now sleeing with Avary.
One thing Avary will do for longer the 5 minutes, hold her sister.

Cassady is so proud and such a big helper for me.

Just had to post this picture. Grandma and Grandma brought us supper
one night so the girls asked them to stay and watch a movie.
So after Mosters vs. Aliens, they watched the 3D bonus feature. So funny!!

First time in her big girl bath. She HATED her sponge baths, but LOVED this one.
She just layed there as we poured water on her. The girls got to help too.
They love to help me with everything.

And now my baby is almost 1 month old already. When you are in the
thick of things of having a newborn and raising 3 kids, times seems to go really slow.
But when you look back, time sure does fly.

Well, God has truly blessed us with 3 beautiful girls, but he has also blessed us with
great family and friends. They have been so helpful as we adjust
by taking the girls for the day or bring over meals, so I with that all I can say is
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

She was a little nervous as first, but looks forward to it now. She gets to ride home on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and gets picked up in the morning on Fridays. She she is getting on for the first time. She is the last one on in the morning which is nice, especially for mom. :)

August was a BUSY, but fun month!

August was our vacation month. We started the month off with Vacation Bible School in town. It was on Monday - Thursday night and the girls loved it. They had lesson time, craft time, free time and snack time each night. They were also able to be in the same class too so that helped.

Then, on August 10 was started our 2 week vacation. On Sunday morning, we left with the my whole family for the Black Hills. It was about an 8 hour drive and I was a little worried about it, but the girls did awesome. With me being 8 months pregnant, it went very well here too. We all stayed in a big cabin by Terry Peak ski resort. Each family had their own room and we shared the rest of the house. It was a lot of fun. Here are a few highlights of the week.

We spent a lot of time playing games, video games and the WII.

There was also a hot tub so the kids swam in it during the day and then we turned up the temp at supper so the adults could sit in it at night. It worked great for all of us.

On Saturday night before we left, we had a birthday party for Cassady. We were going to be in Canada on her birthday so we celebrated early with the Kiel family. She loved it!!

We also did a lot of sight seeing during the week so here are a few of the fun things we did.
The Old MacDonald Petting Farm was one of the kids favorite places. They got to see and pet
a lot of farm animals like goats, pigs, sheep, horses and calves.

The kids got to go to a petting farm which they liked. Cassady and Avary
are bottle feeding some baby sheep here.

They got to ride on ponies.

Pet baby chicks and see some freshly hatched chicks.

Hand feed the goats.

Another place we stopped was Reptile Gardens. My mom was not a big fan, but the everyone else thought it was pretty interesting.

Cassady checking out a snake and Avary checking out the Alligator.

We got to sight see in an old mine. She is my family with their cute little hard hats on. :)

We also went on a ride through Needles Highway and saw some buffalo and Mules. The mules were pretty tame so the kids could bet the baby Mule. They thought that was pretty cool.

We also stopped at Mt. Rushmore and Crazy horse.

The Cosmos was pretty interesting. The law of physics and gravity????

Another day the ladies, Cassady and my nephew went horseback riding. I was going to go, but when we got there, they said I could not go because I was to pregnant. I then sat in the car for an hour while they rode. I was a little bummed, but I understood.

Cassady and Blaine with the helmets on. They are Ready!!!

Cassady getting all settled on the horse.

She LOVED the ride.

Well there are some highlights from the Black Hills. On Saturday, the 16 was left for Canada. We were going to drive for the day and then stop in Grand Forks for the night and travel the rest of the way to Winnipeg in the morning. It was a total of 15 or so hours.

Swimming at the hotel in Grand Forks.

Woke up in the morning ready for another big day of traveling.

We got to Winnipeg around 3 on Monday to start the week. We stayed at Betula Lake Resort in little cabins. We had two families per cabin and it worked out great. Here are some more highlights of our fun week. They weather was not great so we wore coats and pants most of the week because it was cloudy and cool.

Taking the girls fishing in the boat.

Trying to catch some fish, but no luck. The kids was a little disappointed in the fishing.

We did some paddle boats throughout the week.

There was a really nice park for the kids to play at. I think they were there everyday.

Cassady had another birthday party on the 19th (her actual birthday).
She loved having 2 birthday parties.

Then FINALLY on the last day we were there, the weather was sunny and warmer. NOT hot, but warm enough to actually spend the day by the beach. So Cassady went tubing behind the boat for the first time. Mom was a little nervous, but she LOVED it.

Avary spending some time with dad.

So that is about it for vacations. We had a great time and thank our family for the great memories.

Now a little update on me. I am at 37 weeks and waiting patiently. I am due on the 27th so we are getting excited. Here is an updated picture. I am 35 weeks in the photo.

Swimming Lessons done, Check.

Cassady and Avary took swimming lessons again this year and did great. Cassady took Level 1 and has really become quite the fish.

Cassday waiting for lessons to start.

Learning to kick on her back.

Diving for a ring. She did not like this game very well. :)

We finally got her to go off the board on the second to last day. She was a little scared
the first day, but was excited to do it again the next day. Cassady passed
level 1 and is excite for Level 2 already.

Avary was in Tiny Tots, which was toddlers lessons with parental help, but
do you think Avary wanted out help. Jim or I were suppose to be in the water with her to help, but she did not think she needed us. She was quite the fish as well.
Avary passed as well and will take Level 1 next year.

Here she is learning to float on her tummy and kick.

Learning to kick and blow bubbles.

On the first day of lesson, she wanted to skip all the swimming stuff and learning and go
straight to the board. She was talking about going off the board two days before lessons
even started. I think she went off 3 to 5 times every day was had lessons.
Quite the dare devil.
